While it’s still hard to say who’s telling the truth and who’s making things up regarding the January 22 mauling incident involving Vhong Navarro, Deniece Cornejo, and Cedric Lee, the CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage taken from Forbeswood Heights Condominium shows that Vhong’s retelling of the events is accurate, reports PEP.ph.

At 10:38 P.M., the footage showed Vhong arriving at the condo. A few minutes after taking the elevator, the CCTV showed Deniece wearing a sleeveless top and shorts leaving the elevator and the condominium.

At 10:41 P.M., Cedric Lee was seen arriving at Forbeswood. He was soon followed by a few other men. Deniece and Cedric’s sister Berniece Lee also appeared and took the elevator.

After approximately 30 minutes, Cedric’s group was once again caught on camera. This time, they appeared to have Vhong with them. The TV host looked like he had his hands tied around his back. PEP.ph also reports that two other men who were not originally seen in the earlier CCTV footage were also present.

This latest evidence is an advantage for Vhong’s camp who recently filed multiple cases against the alleged abusers. “It [CCTV] will show, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this was a set up,” Vhong’s lawyer, Atty. Alma Mallonga, was quoted as saying.

Even Atty. Vicente de Guzman, assistant regional director of NBI (National Bureau of Investigation)-NCR, said, “As stated by Mr. Vhong Navarro, it appears na nagdya-jibe itong kanyang istorya with that of CCTV footage.”
