Another celebrity has fallen prey to an online break-in.
This time it's Adele, with her baby's ultrasound photo included among a number of personal snaps stolen by a hacker and posted online. The soon-to-be mom is reportedly furious at the major security breach, which occurred after her boyfriend Simon Konecki’s email was allegedly hacked into.
Photos of her five-month ultrasound scan, a selfie of the superstar while pregnant, and a touching image of her then-newborn son Angelo swaddled in blankets are said to have been circulated on Facebook after a fan posted them online, reports Britain’s Sun on Sunday.
Aside from these, an image of a young Adele sitting at the bottom of a slide with her tongue out and a more recent photo of her lying on a bed with a champagne bottle have also been stolen.
The "Hello" hit-maker has been known to be incredibly protective about her family, which makes the leak even more upsetting for her.
Editors at the newspaper alerted Adele’s management to the breach on Friday, when the photos were shared on a privately-run Facebook group for the singer’s fans.
However, one devotee was said to be so outraged at the privacy intrusion that he contacted Adele’s management.
“I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures,” he told the publication. “They are really private and should not be passed around. I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped.”
A representative for Adele has yet to comment on the report, and it appears the leaked photos have since been taken down from Facebook.
