Host/blogger Tricia Centenera, 36, announced via Instagram on July 1 that she is pregnant.
She captioned a photo of her baby bump with a prayer. "Dear heavenly Father, I pray right now for love for my baby growing inside of me. Jesus, fill my child with Your Agape love throughout her entire life. Please, give her a heart that overflows with love for You and for others," she wrote.
"Jesus, please help me & my dear partner to teach my child that love is patient and love is kind."
Based on the Instagram Stories of actress Iza Calzado, it seems that the mom-to-be has already had a gender reveal of her baby, and that she's having a girl.
In a recent article on PEP.ph, Tricia revealed that her love life is great, and that she and her boyfriend, whom she has not named yet, have been dating since late 2017. "He’s a Filipino. He is a real-estate developer and a lawyer. He’s non-showbiz."
While the couple has a notable age difference, it seems to work well for their relationship. "My boyfriend now, he’s 51 years old. He’s very secured, he’s very matured.
"He was married 15 years, and they separated seven years ago and they’re friends. He has a 13-year old daughter. I’ve met his daughter many, many times," she added.
Tricia, on the other hand, is the ex-wife of Gab Valenciano; they separated in 2016 after two years of marriage. Despite their controversial breakup, Tricia and Gab have managed become good friends, and still see each other during family events.
In the same interview, when asked about the possibility of marrying again, Tricia said, “I believe that a strong relationship with a solid foundation is more important than walking down the aisle, putting a ring on your finger. I have spoken to my pastors about this many times..."
She later added, "I know that I love this man. I know that I wanna spend the rest of my life with him, but I don’t feel the need to walk down the aisle with him right now, for me to prove that to him."
The Scrubtalulah creator also revealed that she even told her former in-laws, Gary and Angeli Valenciano—whom she remains very close to—about her status.
"One thing that you need to know is yes, I’m a strong Christian woman but if I decide to have a child out of wedlock that’s clearly a conscious decision that I will make with my partner. Definitely, not by any accident happening."
