First time mom Toni Gonzaga was not having any of it when netizens bashed her on Instagram the other day.
Her post, which included a picture of a weighing scale stating her weight at 96.8 pounds, captioned "I keep losing and Seve keeps gaining... #breasfeeding #pumpitup #lowestivebeen #needtoeatmore" elicited mixed reactions from netizens. Some people commended her for wanting to get fit for baby Seve, but there were others who called her vain for being "too concerned with her body" - and the Starting Over Again star replied to a few of these comments.
According to a report by PEP.ph, comments by Instagram users annaangelica and rakista000 were a couple that got Toni's attention. When the former told the host that she was more "concerned" of her body, she replied, "Talaga ba?" And when the latter wrote about how she needed to gain weight after saying she seemed somewhat "vain," she retorted, "Ikaw na. galing!"

In a Magandang Buhay interview on ABS-CBN, Toni clarified that her concern is really about being physically fit for her baby, and not about vanity.
