Last Sunday, singer Ogie Alcasid announced some happy news in noontime variety show Party Pilipinas: he and Songbird Regine Velasquez are finally getting hitched. PEP.ph reports that the blissful couple is planning to have a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family. In an effort to keep their privacy, Ogie announced, “Di ko sasabihin ang venue...di ko sasabihin ang date. Basta it's going to happen this year (I’m not going to talk about the venue. I won’t say the date. It’s going to happen this year, that’s it).”The kicker? His ex-wife, Australian beauty queen Michelle Van Eimeren, is going to help the couple out with wedding plans. “Si Michelle ay magaling mag-ayos ng flowers (Michelle is good at flower arranging),” Ogie is quoted as saying. “Hihingin ko ang tulong niya. (I will ask for her help.)” The two have kept their friendship over the years. Michelle has also reportedly defended Regine from naysayers before on national TV.
