Actresses Marian Rivera, Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe, and Heart Evangelista braved the heat in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, for a photo shoot for the remake of the 1980 Joey Gosiengfiao film Temptation Island, reports. Set to be released in June, the contemporary version of the movie tells the story of four aspiring supermodels trapped on a desert island. Playing their leading men are actors Aljur Abrenica, Tom Rodriguez, and Mikael Daez. Rounding off the cast are comedic actress Rufa Mae Quinto, who plays Lovi’s maid, and John Lapus, who plays Mikael’s boyfriend.

Marian reprises the role of Azenith Briones, a con artist trying to rig the supermodel contest in her favor. Meanwhile, Solenn snagged the social climber role originally played by Bambi Arambulo. Lovi plays a socialite once portrayed by Jennifer Cortez, while Heart plays Dina Bonnevie’s “virginal” woman role.

The women of Temptation Island turned up the heat in their tattered gowns at their Ilocos Norte shoot on April 27. Get a sneak peek behind the scenes by scrolling through our gallery!
