If a movie were to be made about the life of Sunshine Cruz, the actress says she would want it to be entitled I Loved You, Goodbye.

“Past tense na ha” she clarified in an interview with Dolly Ann Carvajal on Inquirer.net, alluding to her marital problems with her husband, Cesar Montano, who is currently being linked to starlet Krista Miller.

"I just realized I did everything for the man I loved for the past 13 years,” she explained. “I fought, lied, and cried just to protect the love of my life pero sabi nga nila kung mahal mo ang tao set him free (I fought, lied, and cried just to protect the love of my life but as they say, if you love a person, you have to set him free.)."

"I’m doing what I think is best. After all, if you feel na di na masaya o kontento ang tao sa ’yo, bakit kailangan ipilit (if a person is no longer happy or content with you, why should you force yourself on him)?"

Sunshine recently changed the user name of her Twitter and Instagram accounts, going from “shinemontano” to “sunshinecruz77.”
