Love is something that should be affirmed on a daily basis, which is why we all are for the sweet post-Valentine's Day messages of Samantha, Angelina, and Chesca, for their mom Sunshine Cruz.
The actress proudly shared them on Instagram. Part of Samantha's "appreciation post" read: "Mommy, you already know how much love we all have for you. Although we may sometimes do wrong things, we truly just want to see you happy, not mad or sad. I am so grateful and blessed to have such an amazing, hardworking, beautiful, funny, and supportive mom like you. Remember that everything we do, we do our best for you because honestly all we really want to do is make you proud and just to see you happy.
"Always know that no matter what challenges you may face in life we can all go through it together as a team."
Sunshine replied through her own post's caption, "Too sweet Sam. Thank you. I love you so much! Kayo ang buhay at inspiration ko. I will always be here for the three of you. Always proud of you @samcruzm!
"I may sometimes forget that you are only 14 years old (you are so tall kasi!), remember na whatever mom tells you is always for your own good because as a mother, I only want the best for my children.

Her eldest child Angelina chose to deliver her Valentine's Day message the old-school way: a handwritten letter.

Her youngest Chesca posted her message on IG stories: "First of all I just wanted to say thank you for being there for me, not only as a mother, but as a best friend as well. Thank you for all the kwentos, kalokohans and the advice you have given me...
"You've raised not only me, but Ate bunching and Ate sam also, and you've raised all three of us to be independent and to be ourselves.
"When I grow up, I wanna be just like you."

A proud single mom, Sunshine is enjoying her newfound and well-deserved freedom after the annulment of her marriage from actor Cesar Montano in 2018.
