On October 17, the cream of the crop of Manila's social scene gathered at the NBC Tent at Bonifacio Global City to witness the Cream Silk Hair Sonata, a three-part musical production that celebrates beauty, music, art, and the astounding strength of human hair.
The Hair Sonata tells the story of a young violinist who discovers her true strength and beauty through her struggles, leading to her transformation into a confident, strong woman. Maestro Gerard Salonga, an iconic figure in the Filipino music industry, led the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra into a musical repertoire that showcased the strength of the Cream Silk-treated tresses on Asia's first human hair violin bows, crafted by famous bow maker Paul S.J. Goh.
While traditional violin bows are created from strong horse hair, Cream Silk proved that human hair can also withstand the pressure of every high note. With the promise of up to 10 times stronger hair, your perfectly conditioned locks are sure to be protected against hair fall and breakage.
The evening continued with performances by Ballet Philippines, helmed by world-class choreographer Alden Lugnasin, and a short film by top director Gus Cruz, starring Cream Silk muse Sam Pinto, complemented the Hair Orchestra's enchanting serenade.
