KC Concepcion’s career is on an upward streak: her first-ever turn as a kontrabida in the recently concluded teleserye Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala got rave reviews, and she is set to star in an upcoming martial arts movie that will premiere in December.

However, it seems like her love life is very quiet right now after she asked for space from a French suitor earlier this year. She recently got netizens’ tongues wagging when she went on a group date with NBA star Chandler Parsons, but she has yet to speak about the real score between her and the athlete.

When KC’s mother, Sharon Cuneta, was asked about the recent developments on her daughter’s love life, the Megastar surprisingly admitted to being in the dark about the current men in her daughter’s life.

“Talagang as God is my witness, honest talaga, hindi ko alam (As God is really my witness, I honestly really don’t know),” Sharon was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph. “Siguro nahihiya na siyang mag-share sa akin, kasi baka hindi na naman mag-work (Maybe she’s hesitant to share with me because it might not work again.). I know she goes out.”

Despite being vocal about her daughter’s past romances, Sharon also revealed that she isn’t the type of mom who prods KC about such matters, only asking if her daughter is happy or is dating someone.

“I think na ano lang (I think it’s because)… because it’s so… she knows that I get emotional and she’s old enough… so because I’m so protective of my children and I think it’s normal for a mother,” she explained.
