Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad says agreeing to co-host Willie Revillame’s variety show Willing Willie is an extension of her service to the people, PEP.ph reports. “Siguro, kapag titingnan mo rin, marami pa ring questions. Kasi, hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala that I am also here,” the article quotes. “Pero noong kinausap kasi namin si Willie, naramdaman ko 'yong sincerity ng offer. This is not about Willie, this is not about me, but it's more on kung ano ang magagawa para sa tao.”On the show last Monday, Willie welcomed Shalani, claiming she’s the heart of the show. “Alam mo, Shalani, kailangan ka ng sambayanang Pilipino. Kailangan ka namin sa programa, para mas mapalawak pa namin yung pagbibigay ng saya at tulong sa kanila...” he is quoted as saying. “So this time, magkasama tayo. Balewala naman lahat ng ito, e, kung hindi sila ang kasama natin.”
