Early last year, Kapuso talent Sarah Lahbati had a major falling out with her network. She accused Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar of “under the table” dealings while the actress was in turn sued for libel. However, PEP.ph reports that all is well now.
On February 28, the two camps held a small press conference to tell the media that they have kissed and made up.
“Unang-una, masaya po ako na ayos na po ang lahat (First of all, I’m happy that everything is okay),” says Sarah.
“At lahat ng gulo ay naayos... lahat ng misunderstanding (And that all problems were fixed... all the misunderstanding.).”
“I wanna thank you, Ms. Annette, because dumalo kayo ng mediation (I wanna thank you, Ms. Annette, because you attended the mediation.).”
Atty. Abrogar sounded very gracious and did not seem to hold any ill feelings toward the GMA talent.
“Nakita ko rin sa kanya na it takes a very strong and big person to be able to apologize, 'di ba? To admit a mistake (I saw in her that it takes a very strong and big person to be able to apologize, right? To admit a mistake.).”
“And, I think, 'yun 'yung maganda sa kanya, because she can move forward now as a better person (And I think, that’s what’s wonderful about her, because she can move forward now as a better person.).”
“Sabi ko nga sa kanya, 'Next time, pag may issue, tayo na lang mag-usap' (I even told her, ‘Next time, if there's an issue, let’s just settle it ourselves.’).”
As of now, Sarah is happily back at work. Now if only all issues could end this peacefully.
