Sarah Geronimo has dispelled the rumors of the romance supposedly brewing between her and actor-TV host Matteo Guidicelli.This came after the pop princess was reported to be the reason why Matteo did not pursue a romantic relationship with his Precious Hearts Romance Presents: Paraiso co-star Jessy Mendiola.

Matteo had joined the pop princess during her 24/SG concert tour in the United States, and Sarah had nothing but nice things to say about him.

“Matteo is an endearing person, lovable,” the singer-actress was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph. “Nakasama namin siya sa tour at lahat kami natuwa sa kanya, lahat kami. Wala, natuwa lang kami… unexpected talaga na magiging ganun kasaya yung tour. Nagkaroon ng bonding moments, nagkakilala ang bawat isa, mas nakilala ang isa’t isa. Sobrang bait ni Matteo (We got to spend time with him during the tour, and we all liked him. We all had fun… we didn’t expect that the tour will be that happy. We had bonding moments, and we got to know each other better. Matteo’s a very nice person.).”

Despite this, Sarah still insists that she isn’t ready yet for a new romance.

“Parang wala pa sa tamang panahon para magkaroon ng ligawan (I don’t think this is the right time for me to enter a relationship),” she said, adding that she would rather wait for the man who is really meant to be with her.
