Actor Sam Milby, who left the Philippines for the US in February to pursue his Hollywood dream, is getting ready to make a comeback in local showbiz, ABS-CBNNews.com reports. Maria La Del Barrio star Enchong Dee was with Sam during ABS-CBN's overseas tour, and he revealed the latter's plans in an interview.

“Si Sam, nag-announce na siya ng pagbabalik niya," he is quoted as saying. "Actually, sinabi niya na rin ‘yung bagong magiging show niya at makakasama niya, kaya konting hintay na lang, makakasama na natin si Sam ulit. (Sam already announced that he would be returning. Actually, he already mentioned what his new show will be and who will star with him in it, so it's only a matter of time until he'll be with us again.)"

As for the outcome of Sam's audition for an American TV show, Enchong said he didn't know what the results were. "Hindi namin masyadong tinatanong sa kanya [‘yung tungkol sa audition niya]. Gusto namin antayin na lang kung ano ‘yung magiging break niya pagdating doon. (We don't really ask him about his audition. We just want to wait and see if he will get his break from there.)"

Before Sam left for New York in February, he expressed his desire to try again in 2013 should his plans this year fall through. “Even if nothing happens, it’s still something good kasi, the experience [is there]," he once said. "This is something that will help me grow as a person talaga. No matter what, I’ll come out of this a different person, and that’s a good thing.”
