Months leading up to the biggest competition in pageantry, some contestants implement stricter diets, work out more frequently, and plan their outfits. These are all factors they can control. The real struggle, however, is preparing for the Q&A portion of Miss Universe. Sure, you can list down possible questions, but you never really know until you're up there, with the whole world listening.
We spoke to Rachel Peters to know more about her preparation for this crucial portion of the pageant. Rachel disclosed, "It's something I've been preparing for for the last three months. I have a notebook where I write down possible questions that could come up, [and I have prepared] different answers to [them]. But I don't memorize anything because that can throw [me] off, and it takes away from feeling really genuine to the judges."
On who has had the biggest impact in her training: "I have several different trainers, but the most effective training that I've [had] has been with tito Boy Abunda. He's been really helpful, and he's honestly played such a huge part in my preparation for Miss Universe."
