It may have come as a shock to most fans but yes, Piolo Pascual revealed that he's been exclusively dating Shaina Magdayao for the past five years.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, the Kapamilya heart throb says that he doesn't want to label it as anything. "Mahirap i-label I guess. Whatever it is, I guess we just have to mutually respect everyone involved and not talk more about it... I’ve been with her five years na, exclusively dating, but I know and she knows that we don’t date out of what we have. Nandun kami." If you're worried what they have is something the actors might take for granted, Piolo assures that it "is something that we value, something that we treasure and we appreciate.”
In a separate interview, when the 27-year old actress was asked on whether Piolo was husband material, she said that he's a good person. "He's been a good friend to me. Sa ganung aspeto, hindi ko pa siya masyadong kilala. Kasi for me, masyadong heavy ang husband. Hindi siya random thing lang. Pero kung ideal ba, mabait."
Shaina was previously in a two-year relationship with John Lloyd Cruz while Piolo was formerly with KC Concepcion. It was in 2012 when Piolo and Shaina were first romantically linked but Piolo dismissed the rumors.
