On January 17, Alex Gonzaga announced to the world that she and Mikee Morada were married! In a vlog titled "We're Married!", the newlyweds shared that the ceremony happened back in November 2020 at the Gonzaga family home in Taytay, Rizal. The video also showed snippets of their wedding vows.
Now that the big secret is finally out, it looks like more of the couple's wedding festivities can be shared with the public-like Alex's bridal shower! Floral and event designer Gideon Hermosa posted photos of Alex's intimate despedida de soltera which, based on the snaps, was apparently held on November 9, 2020, at the Avenue Bar of Manila House. On Instagram, Gideon described the bridal shower as "tropical lush" and that it was hosted by Alex's sissum Toni Gonzaga!
In another post, he shared that the bridal shower "brought so much joy, tears, and love into the occasion."
Alex and Mikee got engaged in January 2020 while on vacation in Hong Kong to celebrate Alex's birthday. The two were actually supposed to get married in October 2020, but because they, along with Alex's parents, tested positive for COVID-19, they had to put their wedding plans on hold.
Well, from the looks of it, everything fell into place at the perfect time. Congrats again, you guys!
