A photo of what appears to be a burned and swollen male sex organ has been making its rounds online, and although many are wondering if it is related to Vhong Navarro’s case, the actor-host himself has clarified that is not.
In an interview with Boy Abunda on Buzz ng Bayan, Vhong said that he had seen the said picture and that it is not of him, reports PEP.ph.
The words “Binaboy nila ako (They defiled me),” however, still resonate strongly with the public.
“Mahirap, kasi ang ginawa sa akin, naka-tape, naka-duct tape ang kamay ko, at may pinapasabi sa ‘yo na ‘di mo ginawa (It’s difficult because what they did to me, my hands were tied with duct tape, and they’re asking you to admit to things that you never did.).”
“May nakatutok na baril sa ‘yo, ibinaba 'yung short pants mo (There’s a gun pointed at you, and your short pants are pulled down.).”
“Parang, hindi mo gagawin 'yun sa isang tao (You don’t do that to another person.).”
“Hindi ko alam kung ano po ang pumasok sa isip nila para po gawin 'yun (I don’t know what possessed them to do those things.).”
“Pero para po sa akin, isa pong pambababoy 'yun (But for me, that is what defiling is.).”
When asked whether his private parts were hit, Vhong said no, but he admitted that he was blindfolded and that his body was pretty much black and blue from the beatings already.
“After two days, three days, may nakitang pasa dito sa tagiliran ko. Kaya pina-check po namin ulit lahat (After two days, three days, a bruise was spotted on my side. So we had everything checked again).”
It is hard to tell to what extent the abuse on the It's Showtime host is, but it's clear that it will be a while before he recovers completely. In the same interview, Vhong admits that not even his sense of humor is helping him now.
“Sa ngayon po, mahirap pa po. Kaya nga po ang hirap pang bumalik sa It’s Showtime (As of now, it's difficult. That's why it's still hard to return to It's Showtime.).”
