After over a year of dating, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have decided to take a break from their relationship.
On the bright side, it seems like there are no controversial rumors surrounding this celebrity breakup. According to a joint statement given by their reps to People, "Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time."
We have to admit that we didn't see this one coming. The two always seemed so at ease with each other! And just recently, Miranda Kerr, Bloom's ex-wife, shared in an interview that Flynn, their 6-year-old son, "[got] along really well" with the "Roar" singer.
The same People report states that Katy and Orlando have spent weeks traveling apart, and that "Katy didn’t spend much time with Orlando" during the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on Sunday. Maybe things just fizzled out? Either way, it's always refreshing to hear about a drama-free celebrity breakup.
