Neri completed Entrepreneurship Essentials, Harvard's online course requiring "approximately 25 to 30 hours of material delivered over a four-week period." 

The program, according to the university's platform, is for "aspring and early-stage" entrepreneurs.

Neri applied in August 2020 and was surprised when Harvard replied to confirm her eligibility to enroll in the course.

Neri wrote in her post: "Isang Linggo akong di mapapakali nito kakatingin kung mag i-email si Harvard. Ginusto mo yan, di ba? Masabi lang talagang nakapag Harvard ka o sa case ko, nakapag inquire sa Harvard, hahaha!"

Harvard's reply giving Neri a slot in the online session came a few days later. She was naturally thrilled, "Sobrang saya ko na, na alam ko na pasok ako. Ang next ay sakit sa bulsa tapos sakit sa brain naman!

"Magbabayad ka para sumakit ang ulo mo, haha! Pero di ba ginusto mo yan? I am happppppy! Sobraaaa! Nakakaproud dahil kapag may ginusto ako, gumagawa talaga ako ng paraanWalang excuses dapat. Paano ko malalaman kung para sa akin kung hindi ko susubukan, di ba?"

The entrance fee for the online course was $1,050 or PHP50,550.

Neri then underlined the value of investing in oneself, "Tandaan, hindi pa huli ang lahat. Kahit anong edad mo pa."
