This year's Miss Intecontinental pageant held its coronation night on Saturday, January 26, at the Mall of Asia Arena. Our country's bet, beauty queen Karen Gallman, won the coveted title (a first for a Filipina) and we couldn't be prouder!
However, another candidate caught the Internet's attention, Miss Vietnam Le Au Ngan Anh, who won fourth runner-up. During the long gown competition, Miss Vietnam walked the stage in a dress that looked very much like Catriona Gray's Mak Tumang creation for Miss Universe. Some fans even noticed that Miss Vietnam also did her own version of Catriona's iconic lava walk.

According to the Miss Intercontinental website, Miss Vietnam is a 23-year-old student who is taking a master's degree program in Events International Management. She lives in Ho Chi Minh and Miss Intercontinental is her first major international beauty pageant.
