Matteo Guidicelli still remains mum on his rumored romance with Sarah Geronimo, simply saying that he wants to keep his relationship with the pop star private for the time being.

The two became close after Matteo joined Sarah’s 24/SG concert tour in the United States earlier this year, and a source close to the actor had recently confirmed that they are already a couple.

“'Wag na nating pag-usapan (Let’s not talk about it anymore.). I don’t wanna talk about it na. Let's put it this way, I’ll keep it private also. One day I will say na lang, not now,” Matteo had told PEP.ph. “Wala naman akong 'tinatago (I’m not hiding anything), I just don’t wanna talk about it.”

There are also speculations that Matteo was just using Sarah to make him more famous, which he has denied.

“Ginagamit? Ay hindi, that’s not true (Am I using her? No, that’s not true.). I will never ever do that,” he insisted. “Whatever happens, I want to keep it private right now.”

Still, the actor is flattered that his team-up with the pop princess has already gained many fans as he had admired her for a long time.

“Thank you talaga (really), but I guess this is not the right time to say anything about it. If thy will be done, thy will be done,” he said. “Sar’s a wonderful person. I've looked up to her since before pa.”
