A 36-second video of AlDub fans recently went viral online, where supporters of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s love team can be seen holding candles while they gather to “celebrate” the onscreen couple’s “tamang panahon”, fueled by the belief that Maine and Alden have already started a family.

It has been over five years since the two went their separate ways, but it seems like some die-hard “AlDub Nation” still can’t accept the end of the love team.
“At one point, you need to set the record straight. Alam ko na by telling the truth, masasaktan sila, pero by leading them on, mas masasaktan din sila. Gusto ko nalang mag-stick doon sa katotohanan,” says Maine during her interview with comedian Ogie Diaz.

Maine admits to calling out “delusional” AlDub fans who claim that she and Alden are already married with kids.
“May mga taong hindi gusto yung [nagpapaka-totoo], parang mas gusto nila na nafi-feed yung imagination, and for a lack of a better term, yung delusion nila,” she says.
So yun yung hindi ko po ma-tolerate, and I tried calling them out already pero ayaw po talaga nila maniwala.”
Maine reveals that she used to privately message fans to clarify that their claims about her and Alden are not true.

Even though Maine’s rise to stardom had its fair share of challenges, the “Dubsmash Queen” admits that the past seven years wouldn’t have been possible without the fans that supported her and her former on-screen partner, Alden Richards.
“What I have right now is a big blessing, so ayaw ko din po sayangin yung opportunity.
