Luis Manzano, who has been with girlfriend Jessy Mendiola for more than three years, admitted that he sometimes feel a bit jealous of his friends who have already tied the not. The 38-year-old host-actor, however, noted that he didn't want to get married just because he feels pressured to do so.
In a recent appearance with Billy Crawford in ABS-CBN's morning talk show Magandang Buhay, Billy asked Luis about his plans to settle down.
"Sana soon... sana talaga," he answered. "Dahil ito nga si Billy Boy, nakita ko naman kung gaano din ka-happy... At siyempre, kahit papaano nakakainggit yung nakikita mo 'yong formality ng kanilang pagmamahalan.
"Pero siyempre, at the same time, ayokong madaliin, ayokong pilitin..."
Luis also explained that he didn't want to end up separating like other couples after getting married.
"Marami tayong kilala na ikinasal, hindi nag-work out. 'Pag tinanong mo kung bakit, kasi ang sagot nila, hindi pa pala 'yon ang tamang time—pinilit, na-pressure sila sa pamilya, sa society..."
Billy agreed with Luis, saying, "'Pag alam mo naman talaga... and you will do everything...
"Tama si Lulu Boy, hindi puwedeng pilitin ang hindi pa tama sa oras."
Billy also praised Luis as he knew the latter to be preparing for his and his future family's well-being.
"Sobrang happy rin ako para kay Lulu Boy kasi alam ko malapit-lapit na 'yan."
