Luis Manzano has confirmed his breakup with Jennylyn Mercado, saying that they parted on good terms and that there was no third party involved in their split.

“To some degree, I'm speaking on Jen's behalf already, sa lahat ng naglalabasang isyu, sa lahat ng mga pangalang lumalabas, Jen and I know the truth kung bakit kami nagkahiwalay (about all the issues that are emerging, about all the names that are cropping up, Jen and I know the true reason behind our split),” Luis told ABS-CBNNews.com.

The actor-host even managed to jest about the aftermath of his breakup.

“Ako, nao-offend ako kasi ang daming nali-link sa akin, hinihintay ko lang sana na ma-link sa akin si Kate Beckinsale. Please naman, pang-Hollywood itong mukha ko ( I’m offended because there are so many girls being linked to me when I’m only waiting for Kate Beckinsale to be linked to me. Please, my face is made for Hollywood),” he had said jokingly.

On the other hand, while Jennylyn has so far kept quiet about the split, PEP.ph reports that she has already unfollowed Luis on Instagram and that she had also deleted her photos with him.

The Kapuso star also posted an image with a quote on October 24.

“When people walk away, let them. Your future is not about people who walk away, it's about the people who stay in it for the ride,” read the caption.
