Lovi Poe already has what she wants when it comes to love. "That wish has already been granted," said the actress, who was greted with a surprise party on Febuary 3 in a QC restaurant to celebrate her 31st birthday on February 11 in advance.
Lovi is currently in a relationship with British movie producer and medical scientist Montgomery "Monty" Blencowe, who is based abroad.
"He's very busy now kasi po with work, and since kasi nga his field is very different from ours, talagang he has to be there," she shared. "But I'm happy with the communication that we have."
Lovi also underlined the importance of having a strong foundation as a couple, especially if there is physical distance to breach.
"I think, to be in this kind of relationship, you both have to be very solid about it and how you see each other," she said, further adding that she and Monty were "good" despite being apart.
"We do have, like, moments, of course. Hindi mo naman maiiwasan to miss each other.
"But, I guess, since we both have our own careers, it gives us time, actually pursue our goals separately when we're not [together], and [when we are] together as well.
"So, parang ang dami naming nagagawa 'pag hindi kami magkasama. But at the same time, 'pag magkasama kami, we get to support each other too."
