Lee Min Ho had previously starred in various films and shows, but Boys Over Flowers was the drama that catapulted him to Hallyu fame. He plays Gu Jun Pyo, an arrogant teenage chaebol who falls for Geum Jan Di, a feisty commoner.

The Heirs (2013)
The actor seems to like starring in love triangles, but hey, we’re not complaining. The Heirs features rich boys playing tug-of-war with a pretty girl—against the backdrop of an all-star cast, no less.
Lee Min Ho is Kim Tan, a conglomerate heir who meets a girl named Cha Eun Sang in Los Angeles. Their difference in social status makes it nearly impossible for them to be together. To complicate things, his worst enemy, Choi Young Do, falls in love with Eun Sang too.

Legend of the Blue Sea (2016)
Aside from the sheer star power of its two leads, the stunning cinematography and beautiful locations make Legend of the Blue Sea worth watching.
In this fantasy drama, Lee Min Ho plays a man whose fate intertwines with a mermaid’s during two lifetimes. During the Joseon era, he came from a noble family and was saved from drowning as a young boy by the mermaid. Their love only ends in tragedy. Centuries later in modern-day Korea, they somehow manage to find their way back to one another.
