You’ve seen the prenup photos and the video. You know that she’ll be wearing three gowns by three different Pinoy designers. But just how far along are Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero with the wedding preps? We caught up with the actress, TV host, and now, ambassador for Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake, about her wedding plans!
Blushing, but not crying, bride
“Yesterday, I finally felt that feeling that I’m gonna get married na nung trinay on ko na yung wedding gown ko talaga, and medyo naging emotional ako, pero hindi ako umiyak,” says Heart.
The simpler, the better.
“I think everything that we’re doing in our wedding are parang people are thinking that oh it’s another wedding in showbiz, it has to be mas bongga. It’s actually the opposite. Ours isn’t like that. We don’t have big cakes.
“Whatever we have on our wedding
day is what we can afford and more
than anything, I think it’s important
or what we want people to see is who
we are behind the cameras, especially
you see Chiz as senator, you see me as
some kikay girl on TV. What you’ll see
is who we really are surrounded by the
people we love. So the simpler the
better.”

“We’re still talking to [the media] individually kasi more than anything, I want it to be, of course, very solemn, different. Hindi yung parang pag lumakad ako parang taping na fini-film.”
On finding The One
“I’m very blessed to have that especially kasi napakagulo ng mundo natin. Minsan nakakatakot na and to find that someone that will hold your hand through this lifetime diba it’s special so yeah I have a lot to say, I’m very happy.”
