In YES Magazine’s August 2011 issue, the YES! team reveals which 20 celebrity endorsers earned the most from January 2010 to April 2011. Using new product endorsement contracts signed or renewed in the specified period to fit their criteria, the staff got these celebs’ payment figures from their managers, as well as through consultations with ad and marketing practitioners.

The results show that Queen of All Media Kris Aquino continues to be the most lucrative endorser (she also ranked first the last time YES! compiled the list in 2008) with her endorsement income coming in at nine digits, making it almost P60 million higher than the celebrity in second place.

With the help of experts in the field, YES! discusses each endorser’s brand history and delves into what makes him or her appealing to consumers. The staff also provides a comprehensive look into the celebrity endorsement world—how it grew, how it works, and what flies in the market today—in an accompanying article.
