According to PEP.ph, Kris Aquino is reportedly still nursing a broken heart from her short-lived romanced with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista. She took to Instagram yesterday to reveal her true feelings.
“Just not okay today... Had to pack up my taping & won't be in A&A Tonight... I'm sorry for needing this time for myself,” she says. "Back to work tomorrow & back on IG once I'm sure that my broken heart is healed. Nahihiya lang akong mag pretend pa to be okay when I still have a long way to go... I owe you & I owe myself this HONESTY.” She also thanked her close friends for understanding and taking care for her.
Prior to the said post, Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo had apparently sent her a text message last June 9 to ask about Herbert, and she replied that she has nothing to say. She also shared their short text exchange on Instagram.
Her caption says it all: “text exchange w/ Ricky Lo... It is tempting to defend myself but what for? I've stumbled several times in my public handling of private breakups. And after all those experiences, thank God NATUTO NA KO. There is peace in keeping quiet kasi nga kagaya ng sinabi ni Boy Abunda, pag mainit pa ang sitwasyon at marami kang nabitawang salita pag kalmado na, pinahirapan mo lang ang sarili mo kasi ang dami mong kailangan walisin at ayusin. At 43 years old, finally learning when it's best to just keep my mouth shut.”
