It seems that Kris Aquino has found love once again.
Just last night, the Queen of All Media revealed in her Aquino and Abunda Tonight interview that she's currently seeing someone. However, she declined to reveal his identity.
“But again, uulitin ko po, utang ko po sa inyo na ikuwento ko ang buhay ko. Pero utang ko sa kanya [her suitor] na bigyan ko siya ng privacy at bigyan ko siya ng katahimikan. And sana iregalo niyo na po sa amin iyon (But again, I've been repeatedly saying that I owe the public a story. But I also need to give him privacy, and I hope you could give us that),” she was quoted by PEP.ph as saying.
Moving on after a breakup? Maybe you need a little more nudge to get back into the dating game. Here are 10 tips to help you out:
1. LOVE YOURSELF.
Get out of bed and repackage yourself by getting a haircut, a mani and a pedi, and a few dresses and shoes that will definitely make you feel fabulous. When you’ve begun to feel confident and at ease with yourself again, that glow of confidence will definitely be hard to miss.
2. KICK-START YOUR SOCIAL CALENDAR.
Check out your local social scene, and hang out with your friends more often. Not only will you have loads of fun, but these can be great opportunities for you to meet new people you might possibly spark a romance with.
3. MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
Treat your first dinner together as a getting-to-know-you session. In the long run, you’ve got nothing to lose. If you’re not romantically in sync, at least you’ve found yourself a new friend.
4. BE POSITIVE.
When you channel positive vibes, your date will definitely sense it, and in turn, he’ll feel happy and relaxed as well.
5. DON’T COMPARE HIM WITH YOUR EX.
There’s a reason why they’re called exes; they’re history. Don’t go comparing a person you’ve just met with a ghost from the past.
6. SHARE THE SPOTLIGHT.
A conversation isn’t a one-woman show. If you’re talking about a topic that both of you are interested in, give him a chance to share what he knows.
7. BE HONEST.
Don’t try to pretend to be someone you’re not in the hopes of impressing your date. Being truthful about yourself will not only show your confidence; it will also make him feel that you’re a real person.
8. KEEP SOME THINGS TO YOURSELF.
Keep the conversation light, and steer away from stories that you’ll someday regret telling him.
9. RELAX AND HAVE FUN.
Don’t be too formal. Cultivating a relaxed atmosphere will give you and your companion the chance to get to know each other more, so let loose.
10. NEVER GIVE UP.
In case it doesn’t work out for the both of you, don’t be disheartened. As they always say, there are many more fish in the sea. Never settle for anyone less than a person you are willing to get to know on a deeper level.
