A short while after Maja Salvador admitted that she and actor Gerald Anderson are already in a relationship, a photo of a heart-shaped puzzle appeared on the Instagram account of Gerald’s ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu, who was also one of Maja’s closest friends.

“'The more BOYS I met the more I realize that IT's ONLY HIM I WANT TO BE' :( PLEASE come back to ME (G.A)," the photo’s caption read.

Kim has spoken to PEP.ph about the post, which has since been deleted, claiming that it was put up by a hacker.

“Na-hack, my God, na-hack siya!” the actress said.

“Mabilis lang kasi 'yung password ng Instagram ko so di ako magugulat kung ma-hack siya kasi makakalimutin kasi talaga ako sa password so dinalian ko lang yung password. Tapos, pag-open ko 'di ko na kayang buksan (I tend to forget passwords quickly, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets hacked. Then, when I tried to open it, I found out that I couldn't access my account anymore),” Kim said, adding that she was only informed about the hacking by Olyn Membian, who had appeared with her on the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition.

Xian Lim, Kim’s current love team partner and her rumored suitor, had also defended her from her critics.

“Wala, it’s a hacker, I guess it happens to everyone, di ba? 'Di naman natin malalaman kung maha-hack ang account natin (It’s a hacker, I guess it happens to everyone, right? We don’t know when our account will get hacked),” he was quoted by PEP.ph as saying in a separate article.
