Kim Chiu was recently praised for her professionalism on the set of Ina, Kapatid, Anak despite her gap with her co-star Maja Salvador, who is currently being linked to Kim’s ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson. However, Kim has refused to comment on the issue after getting asked about it several times in the past few months.
“Ahm… huwag na po nating pag-usapan kasi parang ang tagal na po ng isyu na ‘yan… paulit-ulit na lang po (Ah... let’s just not talk about that because it seems like that issue has been around for a long time),” she told PEP.ph during the PMPC Star Awards for Movies held last March 10, which she hosted alongside Piolo Pascual.
Kim also declined to comment on Maja’s statement where she said that she still considers Kim a friend.
“Ah… hindi ko po alam (Ah… I don’t know),” Kim said, successfully evading the question when she was forced to go off the stage by her handlers.
Kim also insisted that her rift with Maja is not the reason why the viewers’ patronage of their teleserye Ina Kapatid Anak keeps on soaring.
“The story itself naman po ng Ina, Kapatid, Anak… sa una pa lang sinubaybayan na siya ng tao (The story of Ina Kapatid Anak itself…people have really followed it right from the start),” she said.
