It seems that Barbies aren't the only things being sold on StyleBible.PH these days. KC Concepcion is showing the world just how seriously takes her job as the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) Philippines Ambassador against Hunger by launching an online auction of her personal items, called “KC’s Closet Fights Hunger.” She’s even gotten her celebrity friends to pitch in. This report on StyleBible.PH reveals that among the personal items donated by other celebs are books from Piolo Pascual, which have been signed by the actor.The proceeds from the auction will be put to good use—providing nutritious meals to schoolchildren in conflict-stricken areas in Mindanao as part of the WFP Emergency Food for Education program. KC’s dresses and bags will be auctioned off on Ebay Philippines.
As StyleBible.PH quotes, “Hinding, hinding, hindi po kami titigil sa pag-remind sa inyo na meron tayong problema sa Mindanao (We are not going to stop reminding you that we have a current problem in Mindanao). . . . Together we can help give these children who have been affected by the conflict an incentive to attend and stay in school and give them the opportunity for a better future.”
