KC Concepcion is, without a doubt, one of the most talented young artists in the country. The fact that she can act, dance, host, and sing isn’t really surprising, considering that her mom is the Megastar, Sharon Cuneta. But despite already having several albums of her own under her belt, KC still says she feels intimidated by her mother’s singing talent.

"Siyempre I watched my mom growing up. She would always have concerts. Parang nakakahiya lang. Kasi noong time na 'yon kapag katabi ko siya kumakanta din ako parang (nakakahiya) (Of course, I watched my mom growing up. She would always have concerts. I just feel like I won’t measure up to her. Because that time, when I would sing beside her, I felt like I can’t measure up to her)," she was quoted by ABS-CBNNews.com as saying in an interview on the March 12 episode of KrisTV.

However, bolstered by host Kris Aquino urging her to continue singing, KC has promised that she will try to be more confident in her musical capabilities."Nasha-shy ako. Confidence lang ang kailangan diyan. Sige because of you... dahil na-encourage ako sige na, promise ko na yan sa 'iyo (I'm shy. Confidence is the only solution for that. But because of you… because you encouraged me, fine, I promise you that I’ll do that)," she told Kris.
