In a recent interview with renowned journalist Karen Davila, Julia opened up about what she felt when she was dragged into Gerald’s issue with his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo.“I didn’t know how to place myself in that situation. It really wasn’t an issue between three people, it was an issue between two people,” she shared.

While the rest of the world continues to create controversies around their relationship, the Expensive Candy star admits that she feels safe with the 33-year-old actor.
“I do feel safe in this relationship,” she revealed. “I don’t think I’ll get into a relationship with somebody na I don’t trust. I do trust him and he shows me that every single day, there’s just no reason for me to doubt.”

When asked if they have plans to get married soon, Julia confidently answered that while it’s “not up to her,” she feels happiness and a sense of security with her beau.
“I don’t think that’s up to me, but I think that will come at the right time. I do feel very secure in the relationship we have. I’m really happy [...] The sense of security, the sense of calm that I have,” she shared. “He created such a safe and healthy environment in my life, so I feel good.”
