Julia Barretto has expressed her interest in playing the role of Da Kyung, the mistress in hit K-drama A World of Married Couple if ever there will be a Pinoy remake of the show.
In her interview with Cinema One's PopCinema, Julia gushed about her love for Korean entertainment. She shared that she's a huge fan of A World of Married Couple. She also named Da Kyung as her favorite character in the show!
"But I want to be Da Kyung, the young girl. If you've seen it, you would know. She's the young girl there, she's so pretty," she added. Da Kyung, the mistress in the hit show, was portrayed by Han So Hee. This was the role that catapulted her to fame. Da Kyung was the character you'd love to hate. (We'll spare you the spoilers-watch it on Viu, Netflix, and Kapamilya Channel!)
We hope a Pinoy remake would happen, and we're looking forward to watching Julia play the role!
