In an interview with Pep, Judy Ann Santos revealed she once accidentally spent a whopping P50,000 while online shopping! According to the actress, she skipped out on reviewing her cart before she hit checkout.
In case you're curious, the items she shopped were pasta ingredients, including truffle oil and fresh pasta. "Tapos pindot ako ng pindot nang ganun, nagulat ako parang umabot na ng 50 yung bill ko!" she said.
In addition to being an actress, Judy Ann is also a restaurant owner and culinary certificate holder, which explains her inclination to shop for specialty ingredients. "Actually mahal naman talaga yung truffle oil. My god, nung dumating sa'kin, limang truffle oil yata yung napindot ko. Hindi ko kasi naman na-check din yung items. Diba meron siyang parang checkout and then you can see there your items that you ordered? Hindi ko naman din kasi na-check yung quantity ng per item na binili ko. My god, may apat na ganito, eh isa lang naman yung kailangan ko, eh isa anim na pasta. Oh my god! May linggo talaga na araw-araw kami nag-pasta kasi fresh pasta siya eh," she said.
"Hindi ko kasi tinitingnan eh. Naiinis ako. Pag limang truffle oil, so mauumay tayo sa truffle oil dito!" she laughed.
Lesson learned: Make sure to triple-check your cart every time you place an order!
