Judy Ann Santos, the host of the new ABS-CBN show MasterChef Pinoy Edition, reveals that she has an innate love for cooking.

According to a report from PEP.ph, the actress gamely compared her leading men to food during the MasterChef Pinoy Edition press conference. She likened her first partner, Wowee de Guzman, to lechon manok because of their duo’s appeal to the Filipino masses, while the late Rico Yan was compared to pizza--seemingly elitist, but very down-to-earth and simple in real life. Mark Anthony Fernandez was compared to spaghetti because of his versatile acting, while Sam Milby was likened to steak because of his hunky build.

But her comparison of Piolo Pascual was the one the press was really waiting for. “O sige na, sige na… Si Piolo, ilagay natin sa… siguro risotto,” she said. “'Yung risotto kasi, mahirap lutuin, kailangang bantayan… Pag tinutukan mo, makukuha mo yung tamang timpla. Pero pag pinabayaan mo, mahihilaw siya o malalata siya (All right, I’ll compare Piolo to… maybe risotto. Risotto is hard to cook, you have to watch over it… When you pay it enough attention, you’ll get the right flavor, but if you don't, the dish will turn out raw or overcooked.) .”

The press also asked Juday to compare her husband, Ryan Agoncillo, to which she replied, “Si Ryan, adobo. Kasi 'yun ang all-time favorite mo. Puwede mo siyang kainin umaga, tanghali, gabi…'Yung adobo, ha! At saka, d'i ba, yun ang pagkain na nami-miss mo pag nasa ibang bansa ka, di ba? Pag halimbawa pumunta ka ng ibang bansa, ‘Uy, gusto ko ng adobo.’ Siya' yun. (Ryan can be compared to adobo, because that’s your all-time favorite. You can eat adobo in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night. And it’s the food you miss the most when you’re abroad, right? Like if you go to another country, you'd most likely say, ‘Hey, I want adobo.’ That’s him.).”
