TV Host Joyce Pring and actor Juancho Trivino are engaged!
Joyce announced the exciting news on her Instagram account, revealing that the Madrasta star proposed to her way back on August 3, 2019 while on a trip to Boracay.
According to the bride-to-be, she has "been enjoying the privacy of our engagement for a while now... but finally decided to share the good news with all of you: God’s faithfulness in full fruition in our lives, intertwined."
Recalling the story of how Juancho proposed, Joyce shares that her family flew to Boracay to celebrate her mom's birthday.
Little did she know, Juancho also invited their closest friends. "[He] surprised me with the sweetest pakulo, out of all the pakulos he’s ever pulled."
Joyce went on, revealing that she and Juancho have already been thinking of getting married weeks prior to the engagement.
"Although we had been praying about this decision for a couple of weeks, and even attended pre-marital counseling in the church (more kwento soon), I was still so shocked and started UGLY CRYING on the beach when he kneeled and took my hand and asked me to be his wife."
The bride-to-be says she has already been flying back and forth from Manila to New York city to fit her ready-to-wear wedding dress from the Spina Bride. The gown was designed by French-Israeli designer Liz Martinez.
Joyce and Juancho first met in April 2014 at an event that Joyce hosted.
In one of Juancho's Youtube entries, the couple shared that they, later on, crossed paths as co-hosts for morning show Unang Hirit.
