On February 18, at 2:51 p.m., Jolina Magdangal gave birth to a baby boy. Born at 6.8 pounds and 50 centimeters long, he was named Pele Iñigo Escueta, reports PEP.ph.
According to Jolina’s husband Mark Escueta, she was only supposed to come in for an ultrasound and checkup, but because her amnitotic fluid levels were decreasing, the actress-singer’s OB-gyne called for a caesarean operation instead.
“Pinapasok na ako noong nilabas na si Pele. Tapos, kasama namin siya the whole time (I was allowed to go inside when Pele was born. Afterward, he was with us the whole time),” Mark tells PEP.ph.
“Malikot siya agad at umiiyak pag labas niya (He was active and he cried as soon as he came out.).”
“Tuwang-tuwa yung doctors and nurses kasi ang puti daw ni Pele (The doctors and nurses are all love him because they say that Pele is very fair-skinned.).”
