In her hit TV show Be Careful with My Heart, Jodi Sta. Maria’s character Maya is pregnant, prompting fans to wonder if the actress is also expecting in real life.
“Ay hindi (Oh, no),” Jodi was quoted by ABS-CBNNews.com as saying.
“Confused lang 'yung tao sa nangyayari sa buhay ng character ko sa soap... Naa-associate nila sa real life (People are just confused with what is happening to my character's life in the soap... They are just associating it with real life.).”
Jodi’s boyfriend, actor-politician Jolo Revilla, also issued this statement on Twitter: “This is my first and final statement regarding Jodi's pregnancy issue. She is not pregnant and we are not yet married.”
“What we have right now is something special and we want to keep it private because I love her so much. Kung sakaling totuo man yan, kayo po unang unang makakaalam (If in case that were true, you'd be the first to know.). God bless.”
