On an episode of Buzz ng Bayan that aired on December 8, actress and TV host Janice de Belen surprised everyone when she revealed that she was currently on speaking terms with ex-husband John Estrada, reports PEP.ph.
The two married each other back in 1992, went their separate ways in 2001, and had their marriage annulled in 2004. It was hardly an amicable split, but it appears that the two have decided to let bygones be bygones.
According to Janice, it doesn’t matter who made the first step. “First, we have kids. Naging mag-asawa kami. Hindi naman kami naging mag-boyfriend lang (We were husband and wife. We weren’t just an item),” she was quoted as saying.
“Okay kami. ‘Yun na lang ‘yun (That’s all there is.). That’s a good start.”
Janice and John have four kids together. John is currently married to beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles.
