TV host Kris Aquino, who is currently in the middle of having her marriage to cager James Yap annuled, posted a series of tweets yesterday showing lyrics to the song “Paalam Na.” The chorus goes as follows:“Paalam na aking mahal
Kay hirap sabihin
Paalam na aking mahal
Masakit isipin na kahit nagmamahalan pa
Puso't isipa'y magkaiba
Maaring `di lang laan sa isa't isa.”
Kris says that this was James's current song for her. “We really did love each other but James got it right, in the end we were just too different to make it work,” she commented. “We had different likes, different thoughts, different dreams. But we [are] now friends. And I just wish him the love that is meant for him in the way I also wish that for myself.”
Meanwhile, a few days ago, Kris tweeted that her favorite song for James is Gwen Stefani’s “Cool.” “And after all the obstacles, it's good to see u now w/ some1 else. And it's such a miracle that [you and me are] still good friends,” she quoted in her tweet. “After all that we've been thru, I know we're COOL.”
