When actress Iza Calzado celebrated her 30th birthday last August 12, she looked forward to a small gathering with friends and loved ones. What she didn't expect was that her boyfriend, who organized the event, had something else in mind.

Her British boyfriend, Ben Wintle, pulled out all the stops as he prepared a flash mob dance number especially for the birthday celebrator. In an interview with the The Buzz, Iza shared that she never expected such a surprise.

"So, tapos nandoon na, so happy ako, kasama ko ang mga mahal ko sa buhay. Biglang may nag-abot sa akin ng wine at biglang nag-freeze... Mamaya, dumarating na... mamaya, tumatayo ang guests ko... masaya... Maya-maya, napansin ko, 'Bakit alam nila ang dance moves? Pare-pareho sila ng dance moves.' Then, it dawned on me that it’s something they prepared for. Masayang-masaya talaga ako (So I was there, happy I'm with my loved ones. Suddenly, someone approached me and gave me wine then promptly froze. The guests then started standing up, which made me wonder, 'Why do they all know the dance moves? They all have the same dance moves.' Then, it dawned on me that it’s something they prepared for. I was so happy)," the actress shared.

The actress initially planned for a party to celebrate her birthday, but instead decided to share her blessings with the victims of the recent flood brought about by heavy monsoon rains.

"Kaso, noong bumaha, sabi ko, yung pera na lang na ilalaan ko, doon na lang, ipinamili ko na lang (But when we got hit by the flood, I decided that the money I set aside [for the party] should just go to them [the victims] instead.)."
