Actress Eva Mendes is reportedly pregnant with her second child.
Multiple sources claim the star and her longtime boyfriend Ryan Gosling are set to become parents again.
Eva first became a mum in 2014, when the couple's daughter Esmeralda was born, and news of her second pregnancy started swirling in February after the actress was spotted trying to hide what looked like a baby bump during a photo shoot in Los Angeles.
Mendes and Gosling have been an item since meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011.
The actress explained their daughter's name during an appearance on U.S. talk programme The Wendy Williams Show in September, revealing both she and her beau are big fans of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, whose love interest is Esmerelda.
"We loved the name, the cartoon and the novel... and it just kind of kept coming back to us," Eva told the talk show host. "It’s actually a very popular Latin name, so it’s easy for my father and certain family members that still don’t speak English to pronounce. That was a good selling point."
Representatives for Eva and Ryan have yet to confirm the baby news, which comes just hours after reports suggested another top Hollywood couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, are expecting another baby. Like Eva, Blake became a mum in 2014 when her daughter James was born.
