Valentine's Day this year was a treat for Crash Landing on You fans. SMART Communications launched their newest TVC featuring Korean stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin which was nothing short of kilig!
The commercial, shot last January, was actually their first endorsement and project together since confirming their real-life relationship. In a press briefing for their 5G plans, SMART's Senior Vice President Jane Basas revealed that the shoot happened during a snow storm in Korea and that Ye Jin arrived a little late to the shoot because of the heavy downpour. But the wait was worth it because sparks flew once the two stars reunited on set.
Another fun fact SMART confirmed during the online briefing is that they'll be flying the CLOY couple to Manila once it's safe to travel once again! The brand reassures their subscribers that their visit to the Philippines is part of both actors' contract with SMART. As soon as the pandemic eases, Filipinos can expect to meet them in real life. But as of the moment, SMART shares that they'll be working on a public online event with the K-drama stars instead.
In an exclusive video for SMART, Son Ye Jin also left an exciting message for Filipinos: "Hope to see you soon. Stay safe and healthy!" We definitely can't wait!
