Heidi Klum insists she has no problem with dating a younger man.
The 43-year-old model started dating art dealer Vito Schnabel, 30, in 2014, and the couple has been inseparable ever since. While many have labeled her a “cougar,” a woman who romances a younger man, Heidi refrains from letting the jibes affect their special bond.
“It’s not about age,” she stated to Ocean Drive magazine. “We have an amazing connection, we have fun together, and we love each other. It doesn’t matter what people say. As long as you know when you close your door in your own home, you have an amazing time together. That’s really all that matters.”
Heidi added that she and Vito hold back on being affectionate in public and when the paparazzi do snap them looking loved up, it’s because the photographers have got up close to get the pictures.
Meanwhile, the Project Runway host reveals that she isn’t afraid to bare her body while vacationing and puts her laidback attitude to the way her mother and father raised her.
“I grew up going to nude beaches with my parents, so I’m a nudist,” she smiled. “I have no problems with nudity at all. I’m very free. When I go to the beach, (if) it’s in a very remote place where there are not a lot of people… I like to go topless.”
But for those who aren’t brave enough to strip off like the blonde beauty, she’s created swimwear range Heidi Klum Swim. To ensure customers feel comfortable wearing her designs, the fashionista went for classic pieces like halter-neck bikinis and flattering one-pieces with underwire.
“When you go to the beach, you are as close to being naked in public as you can possibly ever be, so I don’t like it to be too fussy, too weird, too many straps, or too many strange tan lines. For me it was about having more of a classic silhouette that has a great fit, and then pairing that with beautiful prints, great textures, fabrics, great hardware, and trim,” she noted.
