Actress Heart Evangelista has admitted that Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero makes her happy, in an interview aired on the October 5 episode of KrisTV, the same talk show where the senator admitted that he and Heart are already in a relationship.

"Yes, he makes me laugh. All kinds of [laughter]. We are having fun," Heart was quoted as saying in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com.

"Nakakatawa siya,” she added. “He is a very funny person, pero pagdating sa serious matters, seryoso siya. Pero kapag walang nakatingin, normal siyang tao. [He is] very down to earth, cowboy [siya], ganyan (He’s funny. He is a very funny person, but when it comes to serious matters, he’s really serious. But when there’s no one looking, he’s like a normal person. He is very down to earth and is game for anything.)."

Heart also gave a special message to the senator, since the episode’s airing date coincided with his birthday, as well as his last day as a co-host of the show. "Happy, happy birthday Senator Chiz, may God bless you more. Congrats on your show, you are doing very well,” she said.
