Heart Evangelista, dubbed by Harper's Bazaar as one of the"Real Crazy Rich Asians," recently jetted off to China for an undisclosed project. This "adventure," as the Kapuso star put it, has prompted rumors of her being cast in China Rich Girlfriend, the sequel to last year's blockbuster film Crazy Rich Asians.

"Here I am about to embark on an adventure like no other and I couldn't be more excited," Heart wrote on Instagram.

For those unfamiliar with the sequel (written by Kevin Kwan), China Rich Girlfriend, as the title suggests, is mostly set in China. The story will still follow CRA leads Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) and Nick Young (Henry Golding), but it will explore Rachel's family in Shanghai. A prominent figure in the book is Colette Bing, a billionaire heiress, socialite, and influencer, who happens to be (spoiler alert!) Rachel's brother's girlfriend. And the internet can't help but speculate Heart was cast as Colette. OMFG, right?!

Heart's Insta has been flooded with comments about CRA theories and we don't blame them!

Although Heart denied being involved in the sequel in August 2017, things can and do change overnight, right?

What makes things more interesting is that Heart will be based in China for quite a while, as her pieces of luggage suggest! "Here's to hoping that we packed enough outfits for my stay here," she wrote on the caption.

But her good friend and makeup artist Albert Kurniawan actually revealed how long Heart will be gone: ONE WHOLE MONTH. (I mean, TBH, that is long enough to shoot a film!) Writing on Insta to give his well wishes to Heart, Albert said, "I'm so excited for her new project! I'm incredibly happy for you dear. You truly deserve every blessing coming your way. #TopSecret See you in one month's time! Kaya mo yan dear."
